UK Government Web Site Accidentally Links to Porn

An unidentified surfer and British citizen, who was searching on the UK's Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism Web site this past Monday, found a little more than he was looking for, according to the Telegraph.
The Web site in question, which focuses on the UK Home Office's security responsibilities, bombarded the user with pornographic images when he tried to click on a link that should have taken him to an external site for the Technical Advisory Board. An unidentified spokesman for the Home Office insisted to the Telegraph that the faux pas was a result of hacking and not internal incompetence. Hacking as an excuse? This is a defense Web site, right?
The incident is the second embarrassment for the Home Office in less than a week. A few days ago, Home Secretary Jacqui Smith was stuck apologizing after she charged two adult films that her husband had watched to her expense account. Bloody Hell!
Alright, we'll be honest here. We really don't care who is responsible; we just know this made us laugh. After all, what greater threat is there to the Kingdom than pornography? Perhaps, a new special forces unit is in order. [From: the Telegraph]
