I have a few bones to pick about going digital. Whomever came up with this idea should have their asses stomped. If you are reading this and is apart of this so-called switch, listen up. My question to you is “What The Hell Were You Thinking”?
All of this technology and this is the best you can do. At the end of the year billions will be spent on cable bills alone and for what. A million channels that show nothing but the same shows over and over and over again. We already have that technology. It’s called a VCR and a DVD player. You haven’t changed anything except the fact that you’re now getting rich off everyone and we’re stuck watching your reruns. Now not even the local channels are showing anything.
I’ve only had cable a few months and I’ve watched the same movie at least a hundred times because the other channels were showing something that I’ve already seen. Update and upgrade. Here’s an idea for you. Out of all the theaters in this world, why not take the movies that has already been shown at them and put them on cable after they have been viewed but that’s too much like right isn’t it. If you still want my money you’re going to have to come correct.
These so-called converter boxes isn’t worth anyone’s time. You better off using an mp3 player you’re get the same results. What good is HDTV when you have to keep seeing the same damn shows on it. By the way, they have channels that play different music are you going to sue everyone that watched them like you did with the internet music. Never saying once when these computers first hit the stores that people had to pay but only saying that they can download music on the internet.
What about the people that are unable to afford cable or a converter box. There are elderly people who know nothing about technology, don’t care about technology and set in their ways whom only want what they are use to having. What are they going to do. You taking money from people and don’t know what the hell you’re doing. You really need to think before you make this transition. If you think that this world is F----up now you better think again.
