how many ways can people possibly communicate? and with shortened messages comes more illiteracy. ever watch videos on your computer, done by very intelligent people, beautiful imagery, wonderfully done, but when they put writing over it, there are always words that aren't spelt right. and not even big, complicated words.

we may be getting technologically advanced, but peoples' literary ablities are geting sacrificed in the process.

and what is "methodology"? what's wrong with the word "method"? why are we making words bigger? to make our selves sound more intelligent? or should i say, "intelligentology"? why is "-ology" being added to every word ever invented? "-ology", as i under stand it, means, "the study of".

Spelling isn't the only thing sacrificed in the name of technology. Apparently, capitalization and punctuation have been slaughtered also. "People" is a plural noun...meaning: human beings in general. The possessive plural of people is "people's" ....not peoples'. Though it appears incorrect in mezl's comment, "spelt" is the British spelling of "spelled". Probably a typo, but "geting" is spelled "getting".....even in Britian.
