Which Netbook Is for You?

2. Samsung NC10
Price: $500
What we like: Samsung already had us with the sleek design (a choice of three metallic colors and a chrome-y border on the sides), but the Windows-XP-enabled NC10's main claim to fame is its full-size keyboard that makes writing anything a typo-free dream.
What we don't: It's a bit bulkier than other netbooks but has no built-in mobile broadband modem, so you'll have to rely on Wi-Fi right out of the box. Also, we wish it would come in more colors to appease our fashion needs.
Bottom line: Sexy looking without compromising the ability to do actual work, the Samsung NC10 is the only netbook that is equally good for business and pleasure.
[Update: Samsung is about to release an update to the NC10 called the NC110, which has a bigger battery, sexier styling, and a more usable touchpad.]

The Samsung NC10 post depicts an NC20. You can tell by the keyboard.
