10 Habits of Highly Annoying Geek Couples

Thanks to a heads-up from the good people over at geeksugar, we've come across an interesting list relating to marital bliss: Wired's own Geekdad has compiled the 10 Annoying Habits of a Geeky Spouse, and if we weren't so painfully cool, or didn't spend so much time memorizing everything Homer Simpson has ever said, we might see a few of these reflected in our own relationship. Throwing in 'Simpsons' references whenever possible makes us cool, right? We think so, but our spouse won't give us a straight answer.
Anyhoo, the list seems pretty dead-on, although we do have some small issues with a few of the habits on the list -- Both the Wired crew and Geekdad admit to using "frak" instead of actually cursing, but they attribute the origin to 'Battlestar Galactica.' Sure the original version used "frack" but not with the same spelling or frequency, and every true geek remembers playing the game 'Frak!' on their Commodore 64 (ownership of which immediately classifies one as a geek of the highest order).
Also, Battlestar Galactica wasn't the first by any means to popularize sanitized swear words among the geek set -- Lobo from DC Comic's The Main Man, who has been mutilating cartoon saps since '83, used "frag" prior to the appearance of frak. This anti-hero also had alternate words for other profanities, including our favorite, "bastich."
Also of note, Geekdad's list describes his apprehension of introducing his kids to some of his collectibles, particularly a creepy stuffed animal, but how do you conversely explain to your kids that they can't play with a seemingly innocent toy? We didn't hold onto our original 'Star Wars' 1979 Kenner Boba Fett statue (no, it's not a doll) for 30 years just so prying little fingers could break off an arm or lose his jetpack.
We could go on, but we've got more blogging to do. So, decide for yourself whether or not you or your significant other classify as an annoying geek spouse. If you already know you're geeky and want to point out glaring omissions, check out the original list here. [From: geeksugar via Wired]

Oh no! They took out the C, which makes it a completely new word. Seriously?
BG came out 6 years before Frak! for the C64, so even if it wasn't used as much as it is in the new series, it still predates the video game usage by a long shot. And if we're going to be crediting things based on when they were popularly used, then the video game shouldn't count anyway, since the C64 was as popular as the Ford Pinto.
