'American Idol' Comes to the iPhone

In case the hefty airtime devoted to 'American Idol' each week isn't enough for you, a new iPhone app might do the trick, according to Reuters. The folks at FreemantleMedia, the production company behind 'American Idol,' are offering extra content to the show's fans, and have chosen the iPhone as their delivery system.
The mobile application, which costs $1.99 and is currently available at the App Store, will be updated weekly for the rest of the show's season and will provide access to confessional videos from the the current finalists, along with pictures, news and bios.
For our part, we'd rather watch fish swim. [From: Reuters]
