Switched: Best of the Week

It's been a rough week here at the Switched Central Office. We lost a precious work computer -- containing about a year's worth of files -- to a nasty hard drive failure. We'd been working on our '8 Ways to Back-Up Your Computer (and Keep Your Stuff Safe)' feature all week, and fortunately, we actually followed our own advice for once. It's going to happen sooner or later, so don't forget to back up your files! In other news, Facebook updated its Terms of Service (TOS), users complained about the changes, Facebook retracted the changes, and the company is now asking for feedback from users for all future TOS changes. If you missed these stories, they're all here, and if you've already seen them, read them again.
