Vice President Biden Forgets His 'Web Site Number'
Vice President Joe Biden appeared this morning on the CBS Early Show to raise awareness about Recovery.gov, a Web site that details the monetary breakdown of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Instead, he appeared unfortunately unfamiliar with not only the site but with Web browsing in general, joining the ranks of other well-known politicians like Senator Ted "Series of Tubes" Stevens and the most recent President Bush.
Asked how to access the site, Biden embarrassingly acknowledges having forgotten the "Web site number." So, If you love surfing the internets but have trouble remembering all the pesky "numbers," seek solace in the fact that the Vice President of the United States shares your pain. For future reference, if anyone does have trouble finding or remembering a number, just use the Google to find the site you're looking for. [from TechCrunch]
Wired Politicians
Al Gore
Last year, hackers gained access to former Vice President Al Gore's blog, where they posted links to Web sites selling prescription drugs including Xanax, Oxycontin and Lortab. It is uncertain whether or not Rush Limbaugh visited any of the sites.

Putin with Dog
This past October, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin saw a longtime dream realized when he equipped his black lab Koni with a GPS collar. Apparently, even dogs can be counter-intelligence risks.
Putin in Judo Get-Up
Always eager to display his virility, and his tech-savviness, Vladimir Putin released, and starred in, an instructional Judo DVD last year. And we thought George Bush was weird.
Ron Paul
As his campaign gathered steam at the end of 2007, Ron Paul watched -- probably confusedly -- as a group of his supporters banded together and marched in support of their candidate through the mystical realm of the World of Warcraft.

Karl Rove
Former Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove has recently entered the world of Twitter, regularly updating his page with self-promotions, answers to supporters' questions and topics for debate. How about this topic: "Does anybody really want that much Karl Rove?"
Rush Limbaugh
Unable to figure out how to back up e-mails on his Mac, a frustrated Rush Limbaugh beseeched Steve Jobs, on his radio program last year, to help him out. The problem must have been a tough fix; until this, we'd never heard of Rush asking for a Democrat's opinion.

Eliot Spitzer
After resigning from the office of Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer finally found a new job last month, writing a weekly column for the online publication Slate. We wonder if that Playboy.com job fell through due to "a lack of moral fiber."
White House Christmas vid
Weirder than ever, George Bush and the rest of the First Family released their most eyebrow-raising Christmas video yet late last year. We're not sure what guest stars and gold medallists Michael Phelps and Nastia Liukin have to do with the Holidays, but we do know they're more popular than the still-President.

No Bidden doesn't get a free pass. He did in the media during the election year because the media was campaigning for Obama's ticket and Obama needed to show he had on board an 'old experienced white guy' given he was young and black. Once elected the better Bidden looks to the public the more a liabliity he becomes. Obama won't share the light. Now he must show that He is the good cop and Biden the bad, he the light and answer and Biden a know nothing. And the media will comply looking for any chance to help this perception along.

glenFeb 26th 2009 6:01PM
Come on people!! Don't try to cover it up with mentions of "ip addresses" or "every site has a number". You will just confuse him more than he already is.
If he can't remember the words, he is really going to have a problem with a number made up of 4 octets that is really dependant on yet another number called a mac address.
His well just ain't that deep.
NickFeb 26th 2009 6:06PM
When has he ever got something right? He no doubt is a nice man, but
ignorant to the bone.

You don't think Hugo Chavez in minstrel would bring anyone with a brain on board, do you? The chia pet brings the VP office to a new low in IQ.

Hope he doesn't forget where the bathroom is?

Amazing how low key this website Biden issue is. If he was a Republican, it would be all over the place.
JoeFeb 26th 2009 8:52PM
Well said, Nick. The liberal media won't make much of this moronic blunder - just like they never made a big deal of his complete lack of integrity. I'm a democrat, and I admit that if this had been a republican, the media would show no mercy. It's their double standrd at work ------------------------------yet again.
FrankFeb 26th 2009 7:07PM
This guys a total Idiot! If it was a Republican he would be called
every name in the book. The press is a joke.
MaryFeb 26th 2009 10:47PM
Obama-Biden. One idiot leading another. Birds of a feather flock together, and these two are real do dos. Just like Carter, another one term president if he lives that long. Someone will try to take him out and he won't know what to do. He'll probably say, "Here is my head, what a great target."
MeFeb 26th 2009 7:09PM
Biden sure does add humor to the mess they are making....too bad AOL is so liberal too. Talk about one-sided,,,if Bush had done the same thing, he would be called "stupid" . Biden does it and he just "forgot"
GeorgiaFeb 26th 2009 7:11PM
Joe admitted he made a mistake not knowing the #, however part of a lot of websites do have #'s and I have made that same error. After this happened the head of the GOP (no not Joe the Plumber) Rush Limbaugh got on his show today and tried to make fun of the VP but only made himself look like a fool. Instead of saying .gov he said Recover.org. Just shows if anyone is a fool it is Rush.
GeorgiaFeb 26th 2009 7:21PM
Bush was and always will be stupid. VP Biden is an honest and intelligent man. We are very fortunate to have him. Don't anyone call AOL a liberal site. Just check any poll they do on here. It would be a miracle if they ever leaned towards a Democrat. Your problem is you can't accept that most of the country supports the Democrats after the corruption of 8 years of GOP leadership. They will try to push this mess on the Dem's that they have caused but most of the country knows who the criminals and idiots were.

RobertFeb 26th 2009 7:50PM
And he is the number 2 man in the country. I just got a warm fuzzy feeling going down my leg. I bet he also believes there are no earmarks and pork in the anti-stimulus blunder.
