This is bull. My best friends are online friends, and I spend a lot of time on the computer, but my parents know when I need to get out and off the laptop AND desktop computer.
It's not the internet, it's the bad parenting. Geeze, it's not that hard to figure out what the x is in 2 + x = 4

So Ria you need to be told to get off the laptop AND desktop eh? What the hell are you doing on both at once? Facebook AND MySpace at the same time? Or is there something else you are trying to say here? Because most people out there have both and in some cases 3 personal computers and a Blackberry so it couldnt be that.

Yes, I have to be told, I'm a mouse-potato, and quite proud of it. And, actually, no, I'm NOT on MySpace or Facebook, I think MySpace is the most retarded thing ever. I'm actually on Yahoo, AOL, Youtube, LFGComic, Microsoft Word, Fan Fiction, Fiction Press (sometimes), and Graboid. Even if I WAS using MySpace and Facebook at the same time, I know that Internet Explorer has tabs, so I would only need to use one computer.

As technology improves, the general populous gets dumber and lazier. That's the way it is. If you don't like it, change it yourself. Otherwise - quit complaining.
