Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

citi bank sucks. I've had perfect credit all my life and now because of this economic mess they raised my APR!?! I dropped my citi bank card like a hot rock like I bet a lot of responsible customers would. Its not my fault you made stupid loans to people who you knew could not pay. Now with all your good customers leaving good luck trying to stay in business... oh yeah, you will because the government will raise my taxes to support you indefinitely... great.

I don't understand IF you made on-time payments, how your interest rate increased. I also have excellent credit, make my payments on-time and my rate only goes down. I started, like most people at 9.99%, then it dropped to 7%, then 5%, and now its 3.5%. I also am a CITI employee working in the lending industry and NOT making the crazy salaries of my subsidiaries. Most hard-working employees in the financial industry are sympathetic to the economic conditions and try to work with our customers to assist in any way we can to help with their problems. Unfortunately, we have SOME employees that think customers loosing their jobs, having to move to find work, divorces, bankruptcy or any other problems the nation is facing is something to laugh at. I also work in collections at the branch level, and all I can say is don't be afraid to talk to us if you fall behind. So many times I am calling leaving messages without responses. We have a job to collect the money we lend out. Money doesn't grow on trees. We have to borrow the money we give to you and pay interest on that $. We have good, hard-working and understanding people in our office. We are not all over-paid, snakes in the grass.
