Web Site Brings Paparazzi Misery To The Public

A lot of people live for celebrity gossip. Pictures and videos of embarrassing celeb antics are among the most popular forms of entertainment on the planet. Fans of everything famous tend not to care about the lengths paparazzi go to get such juicy photos just as long as there's something for the masses to feast on. We just have one question -- how would those people feel if it was happening to them?

YoBusted.com is an open forum for public humiliation, and it is bringing the paparazzi lifestyle to common folk. The basic premise of the site is simple: take humiliating photos of someone you don't like or just don't care about and post them online, free of charge. If, however, you find a picture of yourself on the site and want it taken down, it's going to cost you. You'll have to become a member, and one-month subscription will run you $20, while a full year costs $50. Then, if you pay for the removal, the person who posted the picture gets a cut of the money, either $10 or $20. If this sounds like blackmail, that's because it is.

YoBusted is banking on the fact that you don't have the time or energy to actually sue them. You could take them to small claims court, but honestly, who wants to exert that much effort? If you find photos of yourself on the site, don't be bitter. Just remember the feeling next time you buy those tabloid rags in the checkout line. [From: Valleywag.com]
