Woman Divorces Husband Over 'Second Life' Tryst

We can add the tale of UK couple John and Lisa Best to the list of reports of 'Second Life' infidelity leading to divorce. The mindbogglingly-careless John was laying in bed with his wife when he was caught having an online dalliance as his avatar, Troy Hammerthal. In case the name weren't enough of an obvious clue, then this next bit should do the trick: Turns out his virtual tryst was with another man.
Lisa awoke and quietly observed John on his laptop for a few moments before confronting him about the "gay dungeon romps." John, of course, immediately slammed his laptop shut and later defended himself saying that he was doing it, "for a laugh," and denied being gay.
Regardless, his wife was having none of it and left him the next day.
We have one question though: Why is it that all of these stories of divorce thanks to 'Second Life' seem to come from the UK? [From: Asylum]

I do not believe she left him for THAT, there has to be much more to the story that isn't being shared here. I have played an online game very similar to SL, there was a lot of playing around done. And yeah, it was done in fun. I kissed MANY female avatars, does that make me a lesbian, heck no. It was just done in fun, I kissed bears too - would you likely find me locking lips with a real bear, lol NO. It's a virtual world, it's a fantasy world, you can do anything you wouldn't normally do in real life. It's a fun escape. If you think that the couple split over the fact she caught his avatar messing around with another male, you really need to get a reality check.
