They choked on #3. The Wavy Lays commercial was cute, and I admire Vice President Quayle for having enough of a sense of humor to be in it.

Once again, sadly, several Super Bowl advertisements overflowed
with inappropriate, and violent product presentations. Is that what
we want our children and young adults to view? I think not!
Ahame on those that create such ads, on those businesses that
approve of them and the NFL for airing them.

Personally, I'd rather have my children out sledding or doing something constructive than to be the kind of parent that wants children and young adults to watch sensless tv.

How sick this world is becoming! Millions of dollars spent to air that pathetic crap! Horrible choices for society to view in our increasing troubled economic times and violence on the rise! It says A LOT about those who write those commercials and the NFL; none of whom to be proud of!!!

Looks like he was smoking crack. No wonder he has all that energy and no body fat.....typical crack/ meth user.

I agree completely. I turned the sound off for most of the ads and for all of al michaels trivia. they should think seriously think about new announcers.

The ads tried to be funny and such, but didn't make me laugh a bit, and those Buttwiper beer ads need to fend off using the horsey scenerio, those ads are getting old and like a one trick pony, lose my attention. nuff said.

Every commercial this year sucked. The game sucked as well as the halftime show. Two thumbs down. What a waste!

I ACTUALLY STOPPED WATCHING THEM. HALF THE TIME U DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY WERE ADVERTISING. JUST PLAIN SICKENING.

Most of the ads seemed as though they were written by idiots; very typical of Generation Y: mindless, unimaginative, utterly stupid, and lazy. (They don't even know they are Generation Y.)

I thought last years super bowl ads were awful but this years were bad also. I thought the doritos commercials were a waste of time and money. They would do alot better if they repeated the 70's and 80's ads.....or updated them, that would save money and time. We did not see all the commercials though, some were local..........I live in the Little Rock, Ar area and I guess they didn't want to spring for some of the ads. I voted for one of the Doritos ads in the crash the super bowl contest, I didn't think the ad I voted for would make it because I am female..........what is wrong with these marketing gurus??

People watch the Super Bowl for 3 reasons: The game, the ads and the half-time entertainment. This year the ads and half-time sucked. Talk about B-O-R-I-N-G! The only ad that was good was the one where the guy threw the snow globe into the snack despenser machine. What was that for...Fritos? Can't even remember, but it was funny. Springsteen was awful - off pitch and his songs were for 60+ folks. (And I'm 59!) Didn't rock at all. Loved the game though, thank God that was still good.

That's the best they could come up with? Even the etrade babies weren't that great. The old ones were better.

I'm waiting for the NASCAR season to start. They're not charging $3,000,000.00 for a 30 second spot and the commercials are a lot better than those during the Superbowl.
