Hacked Obama Site Offering Up Virus

We've already seen the Obama campaign's Web site hijacked, and fake Obama e-mails spread viruses. We've even seen our fair share of fake Obama Web sites loaded with malicious software. Now hackers are trying to directly reach Obama supporters by creating fake profiles and blogs on the MyBarackObama social network. The fake blogs often contain links, made to look like YouTube videos, that lead you to a YouTube-like page loaded with porn. Playing one of these videos launches a pop-up that uses the old "install this missing codec" trick. The supposed missing software is, of course, a virus.
Unfortunately, government-themed attacks on your cyber security are just something you're going to have to accept as part of our modern world. Of course, as always, a little common sense (don't click on any porn from politicians' sites), good browsing habits, and up-to-date security software should keep you safe. [From: Security Labs Blog]

How pitiful!
You're barely one step better than Bill with all your racist remarks. At least you DID express a couple ideas interspersed with your ignorant racist remarks!

"Like most of the Internet, we're more than a little excited about having our first truly tech-savvy president here in the U.S. Unfortunately, for all our fawning over the idea of a government that doesn't still think dial-up is modern technology"
########################################################
Well Terrence, its good to see YOU have a fast connection. However, in MY corner of the world, dial-up IS the BEST technology available outside of the very expensive HughsNet satellite connection. On a rare, good day I might even get a 31KBS hookup, but typically it runs 26.4KBS. This is especially irratating having moved from an area with FiOS. At the same price I NOW pay for dialup at 26.4, I used to get 5MBS which is still way faster than the most expensive HughsNet connection.

Your cute little twisting of his name is so childish... I'd expect that from a 12 year old!
Obama won by a huge margin, get over it and grow up. Whether you like it or not, he IS our POTUS for the next four years at least.

To Gregory Dittmer:
53% of the popular vote does not equal a huge margin.

53% of the popular vote does not equal a huge margin.
########################################################
Well Bill, lets just put this into perspective.
In the 2000 election it was Bush 47.87% to Gore's 48.38%, so Bush actually LOST the popular vote by MORE than half a million votes.
In the 2004 election, Bush had 50.73% to Kerry's 48.27%... about a three million vote margin. Bush considered this a major victory which he felt gave him considerable political "capitol" to use as he pleased.
Now we have the 2008 election. McCain received 45.62% of the vote while Obama received 52.87% which is a TEN MILLION vote margin!
Considering Clinton beat Bush41 by about four and one half million votes in 1992 and he beat Dole by about eight million votes in 1996, Obama's win IS a HUGE margin!

DITTO!!! 53% is nothing close to an overwhelming margin. What it basically boils down to is roughly 53% fell for obama's line and 47% were smart enough to see through all the fancy smoke and haze.....

########################################################
Well Dr. John... it is YOU that have chosen the word "overwhelming," instead of MY word "huge." I don't think Obama necessarily won by an "overwhelming margin," but a TEN MILLION vote margin is huge compared to EVERY election since 1988.
Your reasoning for Obama's win is your opinion, but the numbers speak for themselves. If a ten million vote margin is NOT huge, what majority of a win would it take for YOU to consider it huge?
Going all the way back to the 1960 election between Kennedy and Nixon, there have only been THREE elections won with a wider margin than Obama's... and THOSE wins might very well qualify as being "overwhelming." In 1984 Reagan beat Mondale by some SIXTEEN million! In 1972, Nixon wiped the floor with Mondale and a win just short of EIGHTTEEN MILLION votes! The only other election in almost 50 years with a larger margin would be 1964 between Johnson and Goldwater which was a win of almost SIXTEEN million.
Deal With It... It's Called DEMOCRACY said 6:59PM on 1-27-2009
It's amazing how they always want to throw out the "He's Muslim" thing. Even IF he was..what does it have to do with anything, we're all about discriminating against Muslims now? Because of course they are ALL terrorists or terror supporters. Not to mention, having a middle name of Hussein automatically decides everything you believe in..yep.
What's also funny is how quickly the racism just POURS out, all while they claim to not be racist or racially motivated in their dislike of the man.

I was referring to Larry's comment, not the idiot Dittmer. B.O. may be the POTUS, but as far as I know, we're still free (may not be for long under B.O.) and can disagree all we want.

Gregory Dittmer said 7:11PM on 1-27-2009
Well Kiki, you still have all your freedom and you may even get more of your rights restored. You're correct, you can disagree all you like. My only complaint to Larry, which can now apply to Jack, Glen, Bill and Badley is their childish antics. MOST of us adults like to discuss actual issues, calling people names and wordplay with Obama's name is just plain stupid! If you REALLY have a thought to convey, I would love to hear it.
MIKE said 6:47AM on 1-28-2009
We aren't going to be free under PRESIDENT OBAMA? Now miss kiki, were we free under sonny boy? Oh yeah, that's right we are free to have our phones tapped, mail read, be held without knowing the charges, be denied the right to a speedy trial, be denied the right to peacefully assemble to protest bushes policies. Honey, if that's freedom, I have oceanfront property in AZ to sell you

Kiki: who cares what you think..why don't you go back to the hills of West Virginia and marry first your cousin like you people normally do

Mike, HONEY, shut the hell up. B.O. wants to rob us of more of our tax dollars to bail out undeserving entities. Theft by the government is still theft.
B.O. offered us all magical stuff without explaining how it was going to happen.
And we're all going to pay, HONEY.
