BOUGHT MANY ITEMS FROM CIRCUIT CITY OVER THE YEARS. I ALWAYS FOUND THEM TO BE MORE CONSUMER FRIENDLY THAN BETTER BUY (PUN) WE WILL MISS THEM. THAT SAID, THEY FAILED TO CHANGE FAST ENOUGH. THEIR MOVE A COUPLE OF YEARS BACK TO ELIMINATE "OLDER" WORKERS WON THEM NO FRIENDS!!! TOO BAD TOO SAD. PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN THE DUST CLEARS WHO R U GOING TO BUY YOUR ELECTRONIC ITEMS ( ASSUMING ANY OF US CAN AFFORD THEM ) FROM!!!!!???????????

I went to the circut city so called sale over the weekend, and found it to be a joke...not only were the prices the same as i had seen previously... the sale consisted of a 10 percent discount. Total waste of time considering I could have gotten a better deal online and you can too. I'm sure the plan is to wait till inventory is low and then prices will start to drop, but by then the picking will be very slim BTW the item purchased does not work and now I'm stuck

"we're sorry to report you've probably already missed the best deals."
Wow, you obviously didn't spend the time to read up on how liquidation sales work. First they increase prices up to MSRP and THEN they start slowly working their way down. Maybe in a few weeks there may be 'real' deals. Usually they just make money off people thinking that they are getting great deals even though the prices are still much higher than what you'ld find online or even the retailer's normal prices.
Research does wonders!

It's not that I didn't know how the system works ( the item i did purchase hadn't increased in price it was just 10 percent off the normal price... but as I said waiting would most likely leave me with only the dregs to choose from, so , It was worth a look see...Though the "sale" had just begun the inventory was lacking...What I truly regret is not listening to that inner voice that said , "get out of here and order it online" where it was the same price with free shipping and I could have returned it, since it keeps crashing my computer "darn it"
