Earbuds Blooming in 2009 -- We Like These 3

S1 Audio BudBud Solo

At CES, S1 Audio introduced its BudBud Solo earbud headphones, which take an interesting approach to being both a single mobile phone earbud/mic and stereo headphones. The two earbuds slot into each other, allowing the wearer to place the speaker units in one ear for a phone call and then separate them for stereo music listening. Convenient and innovative, we think, and good looking to boot. You'll see them in the first quarter of this year for about $40.
