I was burned twice (and there won't be three times a charm.)  I had one about three years ago; it lasted 3 months.  After much arguing with store personnel, a credit toward the purchase of another one was offered.  This time I used the credit toward one of Staples' top-of-the line shredders, and I purchased a two-year extended warranry with it. The warranty expired in June of 2008, and the shredder "expired" five months later.  (The shredder was used in-home and quite infrequently, save for household paper such as cancelled checks.)  THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING A STAPLES' SHREDDER. EVEN REFRIGERATORS AND MICROWAVES WHICH ARE MORE FREQUENTLY USED THAN IN-HOME SHREDDERS, LAST LONGER THAN LACK-OF-QUALITY STAPLES MACHINE PRODUCTS.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[CHRIS]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jan 12th 2009 8:15AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
