Online Video-Watching Up 34%

Big-time stat-tracker comScore has just released some numbers regarding how much video we watched online in November 2008. The conclusion? A lot more than November 2007; 34-percent more, to be precise, with YouTube being the number one video site by a ridiculous margin.

Is this really shocking news? Not exactly. If you consider the number of companies and individuals spewing out video content left and right, from official shows and movies on Hulu to, um, this on YouTube, and also factor in some of the major events this year, it was inevitable we'd see a rise in the numbers. Still, 34 percent more is fairly substantial, even if you include the election into it.

What will be more interesting to see is the numbers for November 2009, as holding the same level of growth in viewership is harder said than done. Are all of you watching more video online these days? If so, what's your favorite site? Let us know in the comments! [From: NewTeeVee]
