BaR2D2, the work of an inventor named Jamie Price, is a radio-controlled robot with such glorious ideas as sound-activated neon lighting, a motorized ice/mixing drawer, six-bottle shot dispenser, and a "motorized beer elevator". The machine took five months to build.

not really news, a "robot bartender" was a character in a sci-fi story back when i was a youngster. when the robot can receive drink orders and carry them out by voice command on its own without human control you'll be catching up with that long ago sci-fi writer.
