'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'

The gist: How I Met My Mother's Jason Segel wrote this hilarious and touching story about a guy who goes to Hawaii to forget his TV-star ex-girlfriend, only to run into her at the hotel, leading, of course, to many the awkward and hilarious moments that make up this movie.

Why it's on our list: The movie is sweet and funny, but we wouldn't say it's a masterpiece. The real reason we love this Blu-ray is its treasure trove of extras, which include more deleted scenes than we've ever seen on a disc. Many of the film's funniest lines were improvised, and pretty much every take that ended up on the cutting room floor -- from Russell Brand's raunchy reasons for not drinking to William Baldwin's cliched cop TV show lines -- is available here. Also unmissable: Extra scenes from Segal's hilarious musical version of Dracula with puppets and a funny yoga class scene starring SNL's Kristin Wiig as the instructor. The extras alone shoot this disc to the top of our list.
