'New Age' Residents Protest Glastonbury Wi-Fi Network

Concerned citizens have started an online petition in protest of the Wi-Fi network, claiming that the network's "non-ionising, electrostatically pulsating microwave radiation" has caused health problems in the populace, including: "headaches, dizziness, nausea, severe tiredness, brain fog, disorientation and loss of appetite, loss of balance, inability to concentrate, loss of creativity."
Glastonbury -- home to the annual, mammoth Glastonbury Festival -- is rumored to be the final resting place of King Arthur and appeals to many folks fascinated with mysticism and paganism.
At present, the petition hosts 14 signatures, with additional comments including, "Switch it off!" and "Disgraceful nightmare technology." One comment, from signer "27pa," simply reads, "HAHAHAHAHAHA."
So maybe that's 13 signatures. [From: Fox News]

I agree with this town. If the people don't want it, they have a right to reject it.
I feel bad for the earth along with the animals and most of the humans on it, because there is little empathy left for the natural order of things.
I hope everyday that the people on this earth, ALL of them, decide to make good choices for the environment, and release the greed inside.
Good luck to this town.

First, considering it has only 14 signatures..shows the crackpot ideas it holds. Second most of those "conditions" are either non provable or simply the people having too much to drink. Brain fog, Inability to concentrate, loss of creativity....also stop taking drugs. As for the one comment from Jennifer...you sound like a nice girl...but please grow up and after you do, then come back with comment with us grownups ok?

What the hell, you ignorant people?! I just learned in Physics class today that the only reason why X-Rays and gamma rays cause damage to the human body is because they have too much energy in them (shorter wavelength). Since Wi-Fi waves have longer wavelengths than *VISIBLE LIGHT*, you are actually MORE irradiated by turning on a light bulb than by standing next to a Wi-Fi router.
And the British say we Americans are the backwards people. Hahahahahahahahaha.......

The 14 signatures on the petition? They likely originate from the 8 Glastonbury-area Internet cafes who, having their in-store Wi-Fi overshadowed by the municipal service, are consequently reduced to peddlers of over-priced coffee.
