People Sending Text Messages Into Space

A lot of people believe in extraterrestrials, or "E.T.'s" as we like to call them. Some of you are even trying to make contact with the funny looking, possibly carnivorous/telekinetic beings by sending them text messages....Well played! Be sure to tell them that the last eight years in America were a fluke!

SentForever.com allows people to submit SMS messages, free of charge, that are then sent into space via the British Telecom satellite transmission station in Cornwall, England.

If you want a certificate commemorating your intergalactic digital love letter, you will have to pay around twenty bucks. We think our regular text messaging bills are high enough, but hey, go nuts! There can never be enough conversation pieces in one's abode. [From: DailyTelegraph]
