The fact that you are a firefighter scares the crap out of me more than someone using a phone while driving. You obviously did not read the article, because if you did you would know the key is not a jammer, but a bluetooth interface to disable the phone. Most of you fail to grasp the point that it is not the cell phone use that is dangerous but just oblivious drivers. I have seen countless oblivious drivers that are not on cell phones that have nearly killed me. You cannot legislate stupidity away. Pass some driver education laws instead if you want to make a difference. Teach people how to change lanes and merge on an interstate. Teach people to look before they pull out or back up. Dave states that 23% of accidents are caused by cell phones...ok, that leaves 87% caused by something else. DUH! Get a clue people, this is some insurance company ploy to save money by denying claims to cell phone users. I say we ban stupid people instead...boy the roads would be empty wouldn't they?
