Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

the term "child pornography" carries with it connotations of adults taking the pics/vids of the underaged in sexual situations, which is illegal. but what if the perpetrators are minors? the minor girls took pictures of themselves and chose to pass the pics around to other minors (if they were minors........you can be 18 and still in high school). are any laws being broken? if two minors consent to sex with each other, are they both guilty of sexual assault on a minor?

Actually yes. It is illegal for anyone to have sex with a minor, even if it's another minor. So in this case, even though the pictures of the minors were in posession of minors, they are still guilty. Interesting, huh?

that's exactly what i was thinking. something similiar to this happened when i was in school. girls take pictures and send them to a guy to impress them or whatever. they're stupid enough to take the picutres, they're getting what they deserve. and Chelsea, you're wrong. it may be illegal for minors to have sex with minors where you live, but in most states the age of consent is 16, making it legal to have sex at that age. and where i live you can be 16 and have sex with someone up to 4 years older than you, that means being able to have sex with an 18 year old.

Actually, it is illegal, Kevin. The thing is, age of sexual consent laws and child pornography laws are not the same thing. Child pornography laws make it a crime to have a photograph of someone underage regardless of the owner's age. Therefore, no matter how old the players were, having photos of the cheerleaders makes them viewers of child pornography, and passing them on made them distributors of child pornography.
And to Brittany, who replied to you, the age of consent in most states is EIGHTEEN, but an EXCEPTION is made for people SIXTEEN having sexual relations with someone no greater than four years older. So while I sixteen year old could, in some states, have sex with someone up to age twenty, that does not make them "legal" except within those limited circumstances. Otherwise, throughout the majority of the country, they would still not be legal until eighteen. Not to mention that, again, legality for sexual intercourse and legality for pornography are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT things, as my mother in law who is a forensic pediatrician (a person who studies child physical and sexual abuse) has explained to myself and others before.

Since when is a photo of a topless woman considered porn? If she was going down on some guy it might be considered porn, however these were "art photos". A naked woman is a beautiful thing! If she's old enough to have a nice rack, then she's a woman.
