I have no intentions of ditching my day job to join a band but, after playing Rock Band for a couple of months, I'm quite excited by the idea of getting music lessons and finally learning to play a musical instrument, just for my own personal enjoyment (or torture); however, I've been wondering how close does Rock Band gets to what it is like to play a musical instrument. I'm guessing the drums are somewhat similar but, what about the guitar?
