Look for price-match guarantees.

Virtually all big box stores, and even a lot of mom and pop shops, have a price match guarantee-they'll meet or beat any other competitors price. So check online to see what the competition is offering and then grab your Sunday paper circulars before you head to your local store. Salespeople will quickly deny you if you don't have printed ads on you, and typically won't honor online sources as proof.
