They might not supply all your power needs, but they certainly will supply most of your needs especially if you learn to conserve power. <br><br>Learn how to turn lights off when leaving a room for example.  My family saves almost 30 dollars a month by turning our electric water heater off after morning showers.  We may need to turn it on prior to doing dishes in the evening for a few minutes but it is only a 10 gallon water heater and heats very quicky.  No, we never run out of hot water but we don't take baths.  We shower instead.<br><br>Heating 52 gallons of water is a huge waste for most families when 10 gallons will do the job.  This also saves water.  <br><br>PS  You can get a 10 gallon water heater from any  RV supplier.  Get an aluminum tank it will last forever.
