Renewable Energy Hits Cemetery in Spain

With renewable energy being a thing of the future, a Spanish town called Santa Coloma de Gramenet is making it a thing of the past. And the dead.
The town has erected a sea of solar panels sitting atop is local cemetery. Flat, sunlit land is apparently so scarce in the region that the graveyard is essentially the only viable spot to install its solar energy program. The 462 panels installed produce enough energy to power 60 homes.
"The best tribute we can pay to our ancestors, whatever your religion may be, is to generate clean energy for new generations. That is our leitmotif," said Esteve Serret, director of Conste-Live Energy, the company that runs the cemetery in Santa Coloma and also works in renewable energy.
No word yet from said ancestors, though we have a feeling they're cool either way. [From: DailyMail]

In 1978 I was the king of solar energy but, a cloud would blow over & well, no throne. Today I'm working on what actually fuels the sun. It's not radioactive nuclear fuels. I'm working on the graviton.

I don't want my solar panels in a nearby cemetery. I want them right in my yard or on top of my house so that I don't have to keep paying someone else for my electricity.

2 words: Wind turbine.
Damn things apparently pay for themselves in some areas. I see businesses putting them up for personal use already.

Aren't they afraid Solar Pewter will spark a Dark Aige?, Tapping directly into Humane Courpes is a much better Idiea.

Anyone can get solar panels and put them up. They might not supply all your power needs, but they certainly will supply most of your needs especially if you learn to conserve power.
Learn how to turn lights off when leaving a room for example. My family saves almost 30 dollars a month by turning our electric water heater off after morning showers. We may need to turn it on prior to doing dishes in the evening for a few minutes but it is only a 10 gallon water heater and heats very quicky. No, we never run out of hot water but we don't take baths. We shower instead.
Heating 52 gallons of water is a huge waste for most families when 10 gallons will do the job. This also saves water.
PS You can get a 10 gallon water heater from any RV supplier. Get an aluminum tank it will last forever. Although every 5 years you may need to change heating elements, a very simple job.
