Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

Just had a new phone (new, brand new) added to my plan. It worked maybe 90 days. Of course Alltel added a new 2 year contract. There's more, a so call new "referbished" phone was mailed to me. To get credit I had to mail the 90 day new broken phone back. I have now a referbished phone with a 2 year contract. "Q...has anyone on the earth been provided with their contract that spells out the contract rules? Let me know if you have. I had to go get another phone (10 miles one way)...mail in the new old phone...go back to turn on the someone elses refurbished phone (10 miles one way)...have my saved numbers downloaded...normally a $10 cost...wait a week for it to arrive...did Alltel offer a rate reduction? NO...In other words, cell phone companies have absolutely no government regulations that holds them accountable... Above topic...this really really bothers me...
By the way, if phone companies have you only sign the original contract, you are not leagally responsible for any future contracts and can walk away with no obligations other than your minutes used...The buy-out contract fee is illegal...Blog everyone in the US, lets make some cell phone soup and clean up phone companies. All it takes is 300 million complaints.

O.K The Cell Phone, I can't stand people walking around talking, which seems to be to them selves. I have many times without knowing, that the person has an ear piece on, "I responded" like there talking to me. Most People LOOK NUTS and then I feel embarrassed. Every one Is hooked up and not in the present anymore??? Oh well talking to others seems to be a thing of the past!!!

I long for the days when your employer, customers, and anyone else calls you day or night.
It is bad enough that you have to work twice as long and twice as hard today.
But there is nowhere to hide , you are always expected to be "in touch", sometimes I just dont want to be touched.

Hang up...and drive the damned car. I can't tell you how many times I have almost been hit by some fool yakking on the phone and not paying any attention to other traffic.

People on cell phones can talk in a normal manner into the phone, but they don't, so you have to listen to their conversation whether you want to or not. Also, those walkie talkie phones are a pain in the a** too. With those, now you have to listen to BOTH sides of the conversation, at a very loud volume!!!! It is so rude. Using a little cell phone courtesy would help a lot. And drivers holding phones and talking is another big issue. Why can't they use a blue tooth?? Don't even get me started about the one's who have a cigarette in one hand, the cell phone at their ear in the other hand, and driving at the same time, weaving all over the road!!!!!

Cell phones as a NEED is definitely over-rated.....It has turned normal people into rude, inconsiderate jerks.
Why is it that the phone must be glued 24/7 to the ear, what are they afraid they will miss???
I find the excessive use of the cell phone at work as a "theft of time" ....those guilty are not being paid to discuss their personal issues on company time. Do you wonder why you were the one layed off???

My ultimate cell phone pet peeve is when someone is mindlessly blathering on their phone when I'm trying to ring them up at the registers (I'm a cashier).
Not only is it rude and disrepectful to me, but they act like I'm bothering them if I have to cut into their conversation if I have to ask them a question. Just rudeness!!!
