Dramatic Chipmunk

Claim to Fame: This otherwise perfectly normal chipmunk was forever immortalized after its momentary icy gaze and steely posture were highlighted on a cleverly edited and suspenseful-music-enhanced excerpt from a Japanese game show. Since its debut in June of 2007, the self-proclaimed "best five-second clip on the Internet" has received just shy of 11-million YouTube views and been remixed several dozen times into everything from an homage to old-school melodrama to a 'Kill Bill' take-off. What's really remarkable is that we've never seen a chipmunk sit still, let alone hold a gaze of death, for five seconds. If he'd only been born forty years prior (and human), this little guy could have played Perry Mason.
