Is Oprah Ditching Books for the Amazon Kindle?

I am not an Oprah fan, nor am I an Oprah basher. I can only pray for her and others with the mind set that she has with this new age religion book. I live in the south and Oprah is from the south originally. The south is known for their belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and the fact that the Bible says that No man can get to the Father, but by the Son. Which is Jesus Christ. The Father is also in Heaven and there is only one way to heaven and that is by the Son. God said it and that settles it. We are living in a time where the antichrist is doing a job misleading people and one of the things the Bible tell us, is to watch and pray. My prayer and I hope is other Christian brothers and sisters prayers will be that Oprah and others that believe these tricks of the devil with this book, Repent (with a humble heart to Jesus) and get back on track for the Lord. As far as the kindle, I am with Judy, Whoopie had it on the view a few months ago. Christian brothers and sisters, let's Pray for Oprah and others because that is what Jesus would have us to do. Its your loss that you don't watch her anymore and no one elses. How inmature people can be is beyond me but thats a typical women for you.

No Janet, you are wrong. They did not cancel their subscriptions because they were immature. They canceled because of their convictions.

You see, when a person is opposed to something, it really does no good to simply talk about it, one must take action. To make a difference requires three acts: 1) Name the injustice 2) Expose it 3) WITHDRAW SUPPORT FROM IT.

Most people just bellyache when they don't like something. But the people who make a real difference in this world are the ones who are not afraid to initiate change by putting their principles into action. And that's precisely what all the women did that canceled their subscriptions to Oprah's magazine and decided to tune her out and not support her show -- they WITHDREW SUPPORT. And kudos to those who did.

And about Oprah -- it's interesting how she has always said to listen to people, they will always tell you who they are, and when they do, to believe them. In his books, Obama TELLS YOU WHO HE IS. He's anti-American. He's pro-muslim. He's a socialist. And yet there's Oprah just ignoring it all and telling us he's "The One". What a moron.

My own opinion is that it's extremely poor judgement to recommend, much less elect, a person for president whose birth certificate can't be authenticated, and has many questionable alliances. After all, you really shouldn't have to go around apologizing and making excuses for people you intimately know and associate with. And Obama has so many of them, and that itself is a reflection on the man.

Remember from history -- the people of Germany were in dire straits and were clamoring for change, and then a man named Hitler came onstage and waxed poetic about a new future. And well, they certainly got it, didn't they?

Sometimes the promise of "change" just comes with too high a price....
