Sneakiest Computer Viruses

The Storm Worm
This virus is one of the nastiest and most prolific out there. It's a backdoor Trojan - malicious software disguised as a harmless program - that is spread to PCs via fake news and holiday greeting card e-mails. Once infected, your computer becomes part of a botnet, a network of computers running and spreading the malware at an alarmingly fast rate -- so essentially your computer not only slows down, but also serves as a perpetrator of the crime. How to protect yourself? Don't open any files in e-mails from people you don't know, turn on your e-mail program's spam prevention tool, and make sure your virus protection software is up-to-date.

One other thing I do. I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER click on a link in a body of an email. I physically type the address and then press go. You might be surprised when the web site is not available for certain reasons!!

does this affect a mac too?

No Macs are not affected by PC's programing and viruses . Only if you are running Windows by boot camp or parallels or by emulation , then the mac can get a windows virus .

I don't get it. What's the point? Do these clowns just make these viruses up to screw with other peoples computers? Why? I guess every asshole needs something to do when it's not offloading.

Let me let you all in on a little-known secret: who do you think the virus programmers are anyhow? they're the same geektards who write the ANTIVIRUS software! It's called job security. Get laid off or moved around enough times in your career and you'll understand.

I continue to download my window xp by auto updates. For some reason it's not letting me. What should I do.

No one creates a virus or commits computer fraud to feed their family. Just hunt them down, walk up behind their computer chair and put a bullet in the back of their head.
