BoingBoing informed us yesterday of Budweiser's newest promotional tool -- a USB thumbdrive filled with that company's amber elixir (or something masquerading as the golden brew). This is an unabashed attempt to market Bud to... Well, actually, we have no idea who would particularly care about this thing.
We've seen USB drive beer openers, eco-friendly USB drives, USB doughnuts, USB paper shredders, and loads of other bizarre USB gadgets, but this is the first time we've actually seen a liquid-filled drive. Maybe, by being completely absurd, the brand hopes to distract us from their traitorous move to Belgium a couple months ago.
