Internet Makes Men Happy, Survey Says

According to a Reuters report, a recent Australian study shows that over 50-percent of men see the Internet as the key to happiness, while a measly 39-percent of women feel the same way.
The "Happiness Index" study also demonstrates that, collectively, women's happiest activity is spending time with family, an opinion shared by just 45-percent of men. While we are certainly in no position to criticize these Aussie Web-lovers (we do run a blog, after all), we believe we'd be remiss not to criticize the apparently pitiful number of family men Down Under. Then again, we're not sure if the stats would be that much better here in the states... Is playing online games really more satisfying than spending time with your children?
For all those kids out there that find themselves in this sort of predicament, fear not. If you hip your daddy to some of these new widgets, he might just be grateful enough to play a game of catch sometime. [From: Reuters]

men/women that are on the computer all day/1/2 day just use it as an escape from their real world instead of dealing with their problem which just creates more of them since now your robbing your partners and childrens quality time then they wonder why the wife/husband left or cheated on them.. wake up your not a child/teenager anymore do something productive like work, cook clean something stop the madness! then we wonder why kids are lazy/dumb in they latter generations look who are their role models, very sad.

The internet gives you acess to news, sports, movies, TV, music, toys, games, the stock market, videos, people to talk to ( and yes, porn as well. ) 24 / 7, 365, no questions asked, no time limits assigned and no waiting. Its instant gratification for whatever you find gratifiying and one of the most useful and life changing pieces of tech ever invented. Is it the key to my happiness? No. That would be my family.

You can't make up for lost time spent surfing the net (for whatever reason) and you can't buy back that time, either (unless agreed upon). Probably doesn't matter when you're still healthy, wealthy and etc. However, what happens when that's no longer the case? You pause for a moment and look back on your life and ask, where did the time go? Addictions come & go, but you only get one shot to get it right with those you love, although there can be exceptions to the rule. My boyfriend, whom I only see once a week, told me recently that he plays games and views porn on-line. I'm secure enough in myself and I appreciate his being honest, although it is up to him to change his ways. If somebody else comes along who prefers me to magazines or games, I have six out of seven days of the week to get to know him better..........

I think too many of you are over reacting and instantly making porn the issue. My husband has his morning and evening routine of getting on the computer for events, news, and his favorite stradegy games.
I'm all about both of us being happy and I have no problem with using my own special stradegy to get his attention when ever I need or want it. The key words here are what makes someone happy....who's not for happy???

May be if men handled their business then they would not need to hear the bitching in the first place. If my man watches a porn site, that is on him. I don't have the type of time in my day to monitor all that he does. But using bitching for the reason is a very poor and tired azz excuse. Then the men that feel that way really need to get it together or move on to what actually works.

well ladies,if you would all give us some blow jobs and some decent sex once in a while,we would not be on here cumming in our pants talking to random women on teh computer.Jesus, all we want is some decent sex,if you can't do it you are replaceable.Hell, you ladies have your vibrators and jobs, you don't need us.Well,I have a decent career and I make a great salary,I (and I guess all men) don't need to deal with women who are looking for a handout.hell,it's the millenium, pay for your own drinks.

I don't think men want to play games online.....they want porn.....or to talk sex with someone without having to meet them
m3singsOct 8th 2008 1:52PM
To the men who complain that their women don't give them enough sex or decent sex, meet the woman who is married and has had sex twice this year. And that's not MY choice - it's his. I've never had any complaints, and I would have sex several times a week if I had my way. Please don't lump all women together in one category, and I'll do the same for you.

if your husband or wife looks at porn, its bad but could be worst...he or she could be cheating...even worst they could already be cheating and have some kind of STD...but now you might have it and not know..then both live in a unescapable tragedy...that might last a lifetime...people get together for different reasons, obviously no ones perfect except my spelling..right...lol. im a firm beleaver of that love is blind and commitment takes more than time... ps. i need to lay of the pipe.
