'Hardy Boys' Video Game in the Works

What's that whooshing sound? That, young readers, is the sound of a yet another license being tapped for video games.
SEGA and Her Interactive yesterday announced that they're collaborating on a Hardy Boys game for Nintendo DS entitled The Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks. The trip takes place upon the Royal Express and across the great capital cities of Europe, "in the hope of discovering the secret of a lost princess and a priceless treasure hidden from the world for nearly 100 years." Seems like it will suit video games just fine, no?
For those of you not keeping score at home, the Hardy Boys -- about a pair of teen brother detectives -- is the longest running book series of all-time. In its digital incarnation, gameplay will involve exploring the train cars and searching for hidden clues, interrogating passengers, and solving interactive puzzles as the player attempts to discover what's behind the century old secret of the Romanovs.
Look for the game next Spring. Word on the street is that Nancy Drew is pissed. [From: Her Interactive]

Will it not be for PC?? I'd love a Hardy Boys version of the Nancy Drew games! Those games are so incredibly fun and I especially love the ones in which the boys show up, so a Hardy Boys version would be excellent! It's too bad if they're only making it for the DS, though...
