7 Cool TVs From the Future -- Toshiba Cell TV

Cell TV
Toshiba's prototype TV uses the super-powerful Cell processor (the same one used in the PlayStation 3), which essentially gives it serious processing juice. This means, for example, that you can watch up to eight HD live broadcasts at once, and up to 48 standard-definition videos at once (pictured) -- the ultimate picture-in-picture! In addition, channel changing is lightning-fast and as smooth as flipping through, say, your iPod music collection. According to the folks we asked at the Toshiba booth, this thing is going to be ready for consumers by the end of the decade.
