All this site could possibly tell you is the ISP of people who google your name. If I want to google my ex, assuming he actually KNOWS my ISP, all I have to do is do it from a friend's computer or my university's library, or the city library, or whatever, and no one is the wiser. Furthermore, I have one of the most common names around. When I google myself, results that have anything to do with the real me don't show up until the sixth page, this despite my involvement in a high-profile news story a couple of years ago. They really sort through the stories and determine which ones are about me? They actually know when someone is googling the rabbinical student, or the poet, or the woman in California getting sued, versus me? Whatever. Furthermore, $5 a month to get you to the top of google results? So what happens when someone else with the same name ALSO gives them $5 to get THEIR name to the top? Who gets bumped? I call BS!!!!

BlueSpruce

Comments on New Web Site Allows You to See Who's Googling You

Thanks Evan, for filling us in on this interesting site. I'll have to check it out. It may be a great way to get traffic to my safety and security web site.

Debbie Morgan
