Michael Moore Releases Free Film Online, Encourages Youth Voting
Yesterday -- just in time for the first presidential debate -- political activist and documentarian Michael Moore digitally released his most recent film via free download, Reuters reports.
Entitled 'Slacker Uprising,' the film is an unveiled effort to nudge U.S. youth into their polling places come November 4. Ready and willing to take a financial loss on the $2 million film, Moore hopes that his payment will come in the form of a record-setting turnout by young voters, most of whom he expects to punch the Obama and Biden tabs.
At present, SlackerUprising.com, iTunes, and Amazon.com are hosting the free download, while a $9.95 DVD is available on the film's Web site.
While Michael Moore may be the current U.S. embodiment of the "love him or hate him" dichotomy, he certainly does have his hand on the pulse of these United States. After all, conservative, moderate or liberal, what red-blooded patriot doesn't love free stuff? [From: Reuters]

awesome! but it will be really disappointing if it is not subtitled cuz i am a Deaf individual who also a very politically active youth. theres thousands and thousands of Deaf people who often leave behind from current events due to severe ignorance among media communities... however, i will be utterly pleased if it is subtitled so that way i could spread this exciting note to my deaf voting bloc

I cannot take Michael Moore seriously after he thought Gore won in 2000 even after several news recounts still showed Bush won. Plus even if you take politics out of the equation Moore is still a liar which is too bad because he does have a talent at making people laugh. Can we have a documentary director that is good and truthful?
