EGADS, who writes this stuff??? A fourth grader who spent too much time at recess. What is a "candlestick hold"? Did the young write mean a "candlestick HOLE", perhaps????

everyone sees the faces, because the background is white, it has nothing to do with psychology, if the space around the picture was black, we would see the candle first.

actually, this is a common piece of artwork. and it's not a candlestick holder, it's a vase.
