Great illusion -- but why the God controversy?

ok, why is it not okay for someone to trash your beliefs, but it's okay for you to trash their lack of belief? If i don't believe in god, that does not make me useless. i do a lot more good in this world than some supposed god-loving, god-believing people.

would lighting affect the image?
Reply
Pamhamlet said 4:11AM on 10-31-2008
Yes, grgssays, lighting does affect the image. If you will notice, the lighting in the room actually does change as the mask spins. Raise your eyes and look toward the back of the room to either the left or right side. You will notice the room goes darker as the concave (inside) of the mask is turned towards us. Then, as Charlie Chaplin's face spins around again toward us, the background areas of the room are lit up again. So, someone in the room is changing the lighting to help in providing the illusion of the "convex" innards of the mask.
Jason said 7:26AM on 10-31-2008
Did anyone else see the hollow side spinning in the opposit direction once the nose appeared convex?
