Instead of looking at the woman look at the womans feet. The top set
moves a full 360 degrees clockwise but at the same time the shadowed

I've found that by tilting my head 90 degrees to the right I can make the image spin counter clockwise. In fact, at one point it wasn't spinning at all, but swinging back and forth. Also, the shadow that plays across the bottom of the image tends to reinforce the clockwise motion. If the outstreached leg is to the right when you start viewing, the image is spinning clockwise.
