Peter Pan Syndrome

Late last year, banking intern Kevin Colvin called in to work saying he had a family emergency that required him to return home. His initially understanding boss wasn't very happy when his attention was drawn to a photo on Colvin's FaceBook page showing him in full-on party gear at the time he was supposed to be tending to a sick relative. The fact that he was dressed like a fairy with a wand, or possibly Peter Pan -- it's not a very coherent costume -- added insult to injury, and he was promptly let go from his job.

Lesson #1: It's not just your friends who check out your Facebook profile.
