I agree with you, but apparently there aren't enough people with a true sense of humor left in the world. It was truly great comedy! Very Seinfeld.

Yeah, it was kind of funny, but what was it trying to say? Was there a message? If there was, I totally missed it.

That was so fricking stupid.
I used to love Seinfeld and I loved the show. Then I saw him on Larry King and I realized how full of himself he is. It really turned me off, now I have trouble finding him funny anymore.

My theory is that it was an ad for a new version of WIndows (again)

i am a HUGE fan of comedy. its funny that they stand ups i find so so are the ones best in sitcoms except for ray ramano. it also was with leno. he was ok but then even JOHNNY sided with letterman and told him to go to cbs. i wonder where all the money went for this gates/seinfeld ad? its good to see men like buffet donating. if all the rich would we wouldnt have poor.

I've never been a big Seinfeld fan, but this is really stinkin' funny!
Yeah, they don't seem to selling anything, but honestly, who cares?
I've just upped my general opinion of Bill being able to laugh at himself and his company, and maybe that's the point!
How can I get a platinum Clown Club Card?
Mind-melded!?!
Adjust your shorts...I'm never going to be able to see any man wiggle as he walks without bursting out in laughter.
PS. Kudos to Pay-Less-Shoes for letting them film in their store!

Seinfeld never has been funny. I paid $75 a piece for three tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld live at the Shea's theater in Buffalo, New York.
Seinfeld is definitely not funny! HIs routine is dull and boring.
I'm funnier than Seinfeld and my friends can easily attest to that fact!
I can't for the life of me see what people see in Seinfeld. He has absolutely no sense of humor and no imagination whatsoever.
If I didn't know any better, I would say that he coudln't find his gluteus maximus with a GPS!

"whats the message?" the message is a responce to the mac ads. the old fruppy guy is a pc and the hip cool kid is a mac.
they're tring to say,"yes, were a bit older but we're cool." "we're middle aged like that guy jerry seinfeld, but we're nice guys, now go buy a PC and dont woory about being a 20 something hipster"

This is really a stupid commercial. I mean...what is the relevance of Jerry Seinfield? Why spend all that money on a commercial that doesn't sell anything? Just to prove that they have money to burn- money they got from US buying their expensive a** software? What a waste of our time.
And BY THE WAY- Jerry Seinfield is a egomaniac. Have you ever SEEN his show? The idiot can't even deliver his lines cause he's always about to crack up laughing at himself over things that ARE NOT FUNNY.

This commercial was beyond lame. And face it, if Gates hadn't been in it, no one would have even known it was a commercial for Microsoft. Seinfeld hasn't done anything funny since his show. Remember when the show went off the air at the peak of its popularity and Jerry said it was because he wanted to go out while the show was still on top? Yeah, Jerry, it was time to retire then. You're already going out on a low note as a comedian. It's time to retire. I'll give him the occasional appearance on the late night talk shows, but other than that, Jerry, your time is up.
