I actually had a cell phone charger set fire to my bed about two years ago in Dallas, TX. It was plugged in charging my Motorola phone when according the fire department overheated and caught my bed on fire. It burned the entire master bedroom and killed my cat. Be careful with cell phone chargers, and when not in use, it is always wise to keep them unplugged.
