Discomgoogolation now that is the term for suffering from no access to e-mail. Some would say get over it, others would say how important really is it to get that e-mail amongst all the other possibilities that life in the human offline world has to offer.
For many people e-mail is the lifeblood of communication in the 21st century and is an intrinsic part of their daily life and with out it they feel cut off.
In a book by Tim Ferriss called " the four hour work" week he advises people to go on an e-mail mail diet and not be like an e-mail junkie, but cut it down. E-mails have been shown to be counter productive to office life as people spend too much time responding automatically to every inbox entry as soon as it arrives.
Those that have urgent things to communicate can phone and leave a message.
