12 Things You Should Never Do Online 8

Don't download free software unless it's from a trusted site.
Mistake: People see a cool new program or download what they think is a safe program from an untrusted site (essentially, any site you've never heard of). You're just asking for malware here.
Solution: If you really want a program, go to sites such as the CNET/Switched Downloads area or TK to see if they have it. If they don't, hold off. If they do, get it from them.

WOW Dan! Great article! Thank you ever so much for wasting my time with things that are nothing more than COMMON SENSE!

For the ones that don't understand, I think it is good advice. Now if they can just implement them, there may be some hope after all.
