Don't do any important financial transactions on a public computer.
Mistake: Doing anything with sensitive data or passwords on a public or shared computer is just asking for trouble. There's a chance you're forgetting to log out of an account or leaving info in the browser history that could compromise your safety. Solution: Besides not doing your banking online in public, you should probably also not buy anything in public, since that requires entering credit card information. Also, get into the habit of erasing anything you do on a public or shared computer, no matter how mundane.
