One of the early comments on this article was spot one: you cannot play with a Mac for a few days and get to know it right. I've had a MacBook for a year after 20 years of Wintel. I would never go back and I am still discovering poeitive things about the Mac (like CRTL DELETE deletes in a forward direction). The one and only advantage PCs have is the wider range of third party software. But for regular stuff, NeoOffice, iWorks (especally Keynote), Preview and Quick View just kill MS offerings on price (NeoOffice is free) and performance.
If anyone is seriously thinking about a new laptop or desktop, find a someone with a Mac and go see for yourself, or go to one of the seminars at your nearest Apple store.
