I believe that a mac woud start up faster like if you had an iPod such as any generation such as the 5th generation iPod if you started it up it would turn on fast no loadeing for crap. Like the Windows XP it would turn on fast show the welcome screen fast but when it shows the wallpaper before you use the computer you have to wait for it to load the taskbar then the desktop programs and when you think its done loading the background programs you hit start then all programs then you have to wait again to show everything you have on the computer it will drive you ensaine.
