British Mom's Facebook Profile Put on Porn Site

How many different ways can we warn people about social networking sites and privacy? Well, forget losing your job or being embarrassed by your drunken pictures – now you might end up on a porn site if you're not careful.
That's what happened to Becky Spraggs, a 22-year-old mother of three from England. Pictures and personal details she put on Facebook were posted on a Canadian porn site with the phone number of Spraggs' ex, the father of her kids who's now receiving 50 calls a week. The profile says she wants to be "used and abused" and includes lewd pictures of a woman resembling Spraggs.
The problem for Spraggs is that no laws were broken, according to British police, and the porn site hasn't responded to her pleas. Her Facebook profile was set so that anyone belonging to the London network could see everything she posted. While there's no proof, Spraggs' ex believes that a teenage girl who has a crush on him is responsible, proving that the Internet really lets kids get creative with their malice. Im 21 and have both a Myspace and a Facebook page. Ive had them since i was in high school and havent had any issues. But there are privacy settings to keep everyone out and only let in your friends. While the person who did this should be held responsible, it is partially her fault too. She shouldn't be sharing quite so much with everyone in London.
"When did humans become so pathetic that all they crave is attention?" as humans we naturally crave attention. Human beings thrive on love and affection. True, some people overuse the internet for cyberwhoring, but many others just use it to communicate with friends. Every single person I have added on Facebook or Myspace I know in real life. While we are miles apart, we can still communicate. Is that a terrible thing? I dont think so. Does this make me a "pathetic social retard"? Doubtful. But hey, everyones entitled to their own opinion. Just look at whoever made this lady a porn star...

Honestly.. We all know how the internet is.. we all know how children.. and how some adults can be. Its stupid sh*t but what do you really expect to happen. Its actually kinda funny.. but dont get me wrong I can see where it can be a problem as well. I mean if it happened to me I would deal with it.. I'm headstrong and the most it would do is annoy me Im too focused into my own world even if they caught me with my pants down and posted me I would be embarrassed and would still probably laugh but your still paying for something you did because you basically exposed yourself to that. This case of course is different because the picture "resembles" her and a number was posted but overall its not that serious.. in my eyes and this is just my opinion. Whoever did that prob had something against that person.. its a joke rather than something more extreme and violent and of course thats just an assumption on my part but it very well could be the case. If it was a business line and it affected you.. you should be able to make a civil case atleast I would believe but I dont know about England

The porn site just needs to print a disclaimer: "The profile you are about to read is true. The names have been changed to protect the innocent."

these sites deliberately say do not post inappropriate or offensive material. why is this chick posting pix like that for the whole world to see in the first place? ATTENTION! and now she has it. i have a myspace profile which is set to private so only my friends can see my pix, info, etc. and the only reason i have a profile in the first place is to keep in touch with family and friends back in the us, my husband and i are in germany with our 2 children (with the army). anyways i think the woman put her self out there and got the attention whether she wanted it to go this far or not, maybe next time she will be a responsible ADULT. after all she has 3 kids. if she wanted to be immature she shouldnt have had kids so young. by the way im only 21. what does that say?
